Our Farm!

At our farm we not only raise pasture fed free range hens for egg production, we also grow our own fruit/vegetables and meat (beef, lamb, goat, chicken, pork). It makes us both smile when we have a meal that has entirely been grown here at the farm. When time permits Tahna even makes her own cheese from her 4 dairy cows. We have lived in some very remote places in Australia and when we shifted to Dimbulah from Longreach back in 2016 it was in a middle of a drought, the Mareeba shire was drought declared for the first time since the 70's. The landscape and climate was so different to what we were use to, even though it was dry it was not as dry as we had seen out west.

The pure joy we both have when you throw out seeds or cuttings and it GROWS!, with no grasshopper plague in sight! #Farming
